Ryan Bahar was a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) at Klvaňa Gymnasium and Nursing High School in Kyjov. He spent the 2018/2019 school year developing English and critical thinking skills of hundreds of his students, meeting them in his afternoon "American Club," studying Czech language with a local friend, taking dance lessons with his students, and exploring community and cultural life in South Moravia. The Fulbright ETA Program offers American students, mostly recent graduates, to spend a year in a host country while assisting local teachers with English language education at high schools of all types. The variety of Czech high schools attracts American students with various academic backgrounds, host community engagement plans and future career aspirations. Transformed, inspired and challenged after being the mentor of Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Brianna Dotson at Civic Engineering High School in Liberec in 2019/2020, English Language Teacher Matěj Milý applied for the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program. In April and May 2021, Matěj spent six weeks in Ohio, U.S. at a training focused on media literacy. Together with a group of 18 colleagues from various Central, Northern and Eastern European countries, Matěj explored ways of expanding the media literacy skills of his students and colleagues, and modern technology tools to use in the classroom. Anshula Gandhi graduated with a joint major in mathematics and history at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has continued to explore how the human brain does mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City and at MIT’s Center for Brains, Minds, and Machines. Since April 2021, Anshula has combined mathematics, computer science, and logic to create algorithms for solving mathematical theorems at the Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Lukáš Vízek zvažoval dráhu architekta, nakonec u něj však zvítězila láska k matematice. Jako didaktik "královny věd" na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Hradec Králové se snaží zlepšovat metody výuky matematiky na českých středních a základních školách. V roce 2019/2020 získal Fulbright-Masarykovo stipendium na americkou Harvard University, a společně s manželkou a třemi dětmi se tak na šest měsíců přestěhoval do státu Massachusetts. Markéta Gebrian is a Prague-based digital artist and an architect of virtual reality spaces in the social platform, NEOS VR. She studied architecture and art at the Technical University in Liberec, Czech Republic, and currently, she is continuing as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Architecture of Czech Technical University in Prague. Markéta's international study and work experience includes prominent architectural offices, such as NL Architects in Amsterdam, MADMA/MAXWAN Architects in Rotterdam, Jean Nouvel Ateliers in Paris and Steven Ehrlich Architects in Los Angeles. Her digital artwork has been displayed in the DOX Center for Contemporary Art in Prague, as well as abroad in Basel, New York, Zürich and Miami. Andrea Lucky is an entomologist at the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Florida. She studies insects and her specialty is ant evolution. In January 2021, Andrea arrived in the Czech Republic to explore the dynamics and impact of insect education in Czech Republic, “the world's most entomologically-literate nation." Familiar with iconic children’s stories of the beloved cartoon character, "Ferda Mravenec," (meaning Ferda the Ant), Andrea is curious about the impact of insect-rich Czech children’s literature on generations of children, who grow up following the stories of Ferda and his insect compatriots in an anthropomorphized insect empire. Petr Nguyen vede Laboratoř srovnávací cytogenetiky a genomiky na Přírodovědecké fakultě Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích a působí jako vědecký pracovník Entomologického ústavu Biologického centra Akademie věd. V roce 2016/2017 strávil osm měsíců s Fulbrightovým stipendiem pro vědce a přednášející na University of Kansas v USA, a pronikl tak do základů bioinformatiky.
