Tadeáš Celý is a PhD candidate in political science at Masaryk University. He specializes in political behavior. From September 2023 to May 2024, he spent nine months at the Polarization Research Lab at Dartmouth College, where he compared political polarization and disagreement in European and American contexts as a Fulbright Student grantee. Reflecting on his recent stay abroad, he says: "I learned a great deal about various computational methods, such as using large language models for research, which I had never used before. Additionally, I gained a deeper understanding of efficiency." Hannah Pontari is a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Matiční Gymnázium in Ostrava, Czech Republic. A recent graduate from Villanova University, where she studied Political Science and Public Administration, Hannah is interested in education policy, specifically the equitable internationalization of the American school system. Hannah, the daughter of a first-generation college student who instilled in her the values of education and travel very early in life, eagerly pursued the opportunity to immerse herself in an international educational context through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Hannah plans to apply her knowledge from teaching abroad to her studies at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education when she returns to the United States in June. Politolog Jaroslav Bílek v únoru vycestoval do USA s cílem zkoumat příčiny represe a manipulace v Latinské Americe. Z Filosofické fakulty Univerzity Hradec Králové se na osm měsíců přesunul na soukromou katolickou univerzitu Notre Dame ve státě Indiana. Svůj pobyt zahájil karanténou, noví kolegové mu ji však zpříjemnili donáškou jídla a univerzitních roušek. Nyní už je ponořen ve studiu, které se z online seminářů často přesouvá do živých debat u kávy, a pochvaluje si fungující systém testování, trasování i očkování na celém kampusu.  Během února loňského roku jsem jel vlakem z Prahy do Plzně. Na první pohled na tom nebylo nic zajímavého, kdyby si ke mně do kupé nepřisedl pán, který mi tehdy připadal poněkud výstřední. Na ústech měl totiž respirátor FFP3 (což jsem tehdy ještě určit nedokázal) a hned začal vyprávět o pohromě, která se na nás řítí z Číny.
